look at regular tires -- that is what all the groves are for --- is a trade
off between tire wear -- if tire was flat you would get lots of miles on
tread but in water would hydroplane - if you have lots of grooves , water
gets away but tire mileage suffers. Also throw in rubber compound and it
really gets stickey
