Your question is of course a very legitimate one, but
I wanted to pass along a hint that may help you (and
others) get more complete info on NSN items in the
future. It's also VERY fast. :-)
What I usually do is put the NSN into google.com or
altavista.com and do a search. Here's what I found
about your headset. It's made by Astrocom (typical
military contractor for headsets), it is a model
H-161/U. Not sure why this wasn't somewhere on the
headset...sometimes, the markings might be somewhat
obscure I suppose. If you'd said it was an H-161, I'd
have known what it was right off! :-) (I haven't
quite memorized all the NSN's yet...working on
it...<grin>).
