At highway speeds (55mph) I've found that this drops to about 8mpg. If I
slow to 45mph it is back up around 10.

Hi Mark...

>How many miles per gallon does an M35 get?

I can answer this one...last weekend I towed my M1007 CUCV Suburban
with my M35A2 with a VERY FULL load of camping gear, generator and
extra fuel, props, equipment, water, and much more on a round trip of
500 miles from sea level to about 7,700 feet and then back and I
ended up getting just over 10 MPG! I though that was darned good
considering that the Suburban under its own power (fresh 6.2 liter
turbo diesel) only gets about 14 MPG! I spent a lot of the time
crawling up mountain passes at 25 MPH.

Your mileage may vary!
