On the Mustang, register it as an Antique. In my state there's NO tax on
it, NO county sticker tax either, (but the sticker is provided) and the
license lasts around ten years or so (Virginia) We can drive it to/from
events, to from repairs, and weekends (or other trips) for fun. Sounds like
what your doing with it. (Then opt for JC Taylor insurance to save $.
As to the M240, You guys really forgot all us old Infantry (mechanized that
is) That drove Bradley Fighting Vehicles (BFV's) The M2 always had the M240
series as well.
I personally designed a Semi-Auto sear for it, the Army awarded me a couple
of K, but FN refused to acknowledge it (wasn't designed by their guys)
A Semi- Auto trigger group means you can : Zero the sights, Snipe with it,
Train with a "subcaliber round representing the main gun, etc.
Oh well, so much for progress. (The sear is similar in the Squad Automatic
Weapon as well, too bad I had to get cut back from service)
And finally, not to forget the Jar Heads, (respectfully) The LAV's have
also used the M240 in the turret. Although the LAV isn't as good as a
Bradley. "IMHO" (and Army cross country tests...)
