Sure, drill the holes and then mig weld it, or if you are really careful stick
weld it. Carbon in the pipe won't be a problem at all. Mig is the way to go
it you have one, or take it to a shop, should be a 15 minute job if out of the
truck. Most car exhaust systems are Mig welded.
