I received a note from Carl this A.M. stating he would take care of the bad
check he gave me in January.. The response with suggestions was great from
the list..but this one sums it all up..this is how I do my financial goofs..

Properly, the vendor should be immediately paid for the bounced check and
then the payee should work out the original problem on his own time.

I just had one of these problems myself...I was paid for a MINT WW2 GPW
orignal horn..I shipped it..The Post Office lost it...I paid the buyer
immediately..and am now fighting the Post Office for my money..that is how
it is done..Gene
