Sometimes you can detect leaks like that by spraying some fuel near a
suspected leak. I use a can of WD40, which is essentially kerosene. As the
fuel is admitted to the leak, the revs will come up, and/or the unevenness of
the idle will smooth out. Of course, you must suspect something to be at
