VERY IMPORTANT! If you tie a gen-set into your house wiring, you must install
an isolator. This is a box that gets wired into your house panel box and the
gen-set get wired into it. When you go to operate the gen-set, you must
isolate the charge from the panel or you will feed back electric to the
utillity pole, therefore endangering
any workers working on the uillity company's line. In other words, you could
electrocute them. You can get the box at just about any eletrical supply
company.
There's a series of switches on it and you merely flip them to the generator
side.
