For the deuce trivia nut....
We know that of late that Uncle Sam has used "plastic" troop seats and
bows...BUT did you know that this was first tested 11 June through 15
September 1952 using XM135 cargo truck. The final report of 22 January 1953
showed these failed the test. This is APG report TT1-696/21st.
Guess they reconsidered, eh? And you thought this a "new" idea!
