Got some photo's from a friend about avehicle (or more) in sunny Cal.
A smaller tracked vehicle, supposedly used to tow targets. I assume at a
range,it was called a scorpion. US Navy. Got a fuzzy photo of the dash
plate Shows "QM-56 MOBILE LAND TARGET". Can't tell much else, lists
Operators manual as TM9 (?) -3300 (?)-213-10. Other manuals are same
numbers except last two are -20, or 20 P. Shows manufactured by Cadillac
motor car div.
Appears to be a sloped front, w / grill like its front engined. Open
back deck, drivers steering wheel / seat setup on left amid ships (hey
its NAVY). Twin exhaust pipes from the engine going out either side up
top, and a large drum shaped feature int eh center of the deck (again w /
the NAVY speak).
