Whistling Turbo

Hi list,

About a year ago there was a thread on which engines had the whistling
turbo as opposed to the non-whistling. I know there was someway of
identifying which were the whistling turbos, and which weren't.

Could anyone help me out with this info - I thought I'd saved it, but I
can't find it!
