Man! I ruined an original paint job and didn't realize it. All kidding aside
when we make a vehicle perfect in every detail we are as far away from
milspec as chrome bumpers, I think we can over do it on detail, I have never
seen pictures of HMVs coming off the assembly line looking perfect. Most
have grease pencil markings, unpainted bolts, and such. I would much rather
see a "Living History" type vehicle restoration that kids can climb on
without the owner going ballistic, than a museum piece. I appreciate the
work it takes to build a vehicle like that, and they have their place but I
enjoy using mine too much for that. Well enough rambling, that's my two
cents worth.

Maybe that's what happened to the APC in the before picture of the Tired
Iron M114A1 covered in what is thought to be White Latex. Overzealous
National STAR stenciling!!!
It actually looks like most of the stenciling jobs Hank does, but he
just calls it winter camo when he's done. ;-)
