Hi Stu and list,
Something else to think about. Since you are using a manual glow plug
switch, you don't have the benefit of the controller cycling the plugs
on/off after the truck starts. The purpose of it cycling is to even-out
rough idles when all the cylinders are not firing. Try cycling the plugs on
for a 2-3 seconds for 3 cycles after you start the truck. That's what mine
does each time it cold starts. Good luck.
