Hi all,
This will go out to all you M37 nuts. I have had a 1951 M37 under
restoration for a good 6 years (all the vermont listers know this truck all
to well) anyway, I bought a rolling chassis for parts. Now it was a 1952
and it was delivered to the USAF. Now as I strip the parts, I am finding
that Dodge did not use the same types of bolts that I found when I took
apart my 51. Most of the bolts in my 51 were of the Mopar Lable on the
head, to where these look way to generic. Not to mention the torque
involved to take them off, was not even close to the amount that was on the
51. So I wonder, did Dodge build a cheaper truck for the USAF?????? Who
knows.
