I know it isn't correct, but I use Marine Dual purpose batteries in my M51. They are considerably smaller than the 6TLs and they work fine. They are inexpensive (two
for about $100 at Sams Club), can survive deep discharges multiple times, and I have found they lose very little charge even over months of sitting. I think I am on
year 3 of their installation. I used some blocks of pressure treated wood to block the batteries in the battery box.
