U/S as in unserviceable. But yes they are manufactured in the USA.
By the way, despite Richard's elaborate theory, the difference in track
lenght has no bearing on steering bias. I had an earthmover set me
straight about this years ago. The ONLY thing that has to be the same
on each side on a track vehicle is the sprockets. This is why in
order to be able overcome the constant steering corrections needed to
make a Bren Carrier track straight on a formed road, the Poms thought
up "track warping", if it had been a simple matter of removing links
from one side they would have done so instead of making that elaborate
cam plate and sliding axle set up.
