Those of you with NARA experience (D. Doyle,
Rick Lathrop, Greg Stephens, etc) is it possible
to cross reference my VIN for my '39 Ford QM
Rgt Panel in order to get that darned "W" number?
I KNOW the VIN:99T-50772, that stinking W number is hiding pretty
well. I can see various
"USA" of different sizes (from different eras militarily, '39 to '55) on
the hood but only pieces
of the W number. Perhaps W-3_54__. Six digits for a '39, right?
I think I'm pretty well sunk without that number. Almost to the point
of giving-up the
chase!
I'm planning a trip to NARA this spring.
You guys are really great, couldn't have gotten this far without you!
