Gentelman,

I have a vehicle with the following plaque attached to it.

S.N.E.C.M.A. - NORMANDIE
No de chassis 20077
Date de reception 27.01.65

While most of this tag is fairly obvious,could someone explain;
1. The significance of this tag.
2. What the initials S.N.E.C.M.A. stand for.
3. Is there somewhere that I could find out who gave this vehicle to the
French and possible some of it's history.
