Good Morning List,
A good friend of mine (not on the list --- yet) has about a 1965 M54 (I
think). It does have the LD465 and turbo. The truck used to start just
fine in the winter using the preheater (is that the right term?). Lately,
its very hard starting when cold. He checked the spark plug on the intake
and it sparks. The injector shoots plenty of fuel, however it shoots a
straight stream rather than a mist. Is this the hard start problem?? would
cleaning the injector help or is it replace only ?? any advice would be
greatly appreciated.
