Well... knowing how much EVERYBODY on this list loves to talk about WWII
era gas cans, I thought I would forward this message to the list :-)
This is off my Pinzgauer list. Standard disclaimers apply, such as I
have no connection or interest in this at all so take the information for
what is worth...

Hi Group,
We have about 15 Gerry cans stamped with 1940 through 1945 dates. These
might be of interest to those Military Vehicle collectors. We pulled them
out of about 400 others sitting at the shop.
1940's cans - $15 - They hold fuel, but look pretty well worn. We will
ship
these for the collectors.
Regular Swiss Military Gerry Cans. $7. Good condition. Must be picked
up
at shop, or bought in pallet quantities. 42 or 63 cans a pallet.
As per 2002 California Regulations, all cans being sold for re-enactment
purposes only, and are "Not meant for carrying fuel for motor vehicles"
