Jack, could Heath have subscribed to the MV list?
Are there archives of MV list posts?

Hopefully not. But as the old saying goes, "on the Internet, no one
knows you are a dog."
Very likely it could be you tweaked someone. Also, I get a good bit
of spam on a number of e-mail accounts. Most is residual from when I
posted to usenet with a .sig file that had most of my e-mail
addresses in them. Now I'm beginning to suspect that some spammers
are harvesting e-mail addresses by crawling web pages and looking for
e-mail addresses.
As for how to deal with basic spam, might I reccommend the Spaminator
that Earthlink offers?
