I agree 100% here. I personally did NOT like the way DRMO was set up. I
am well over 100 miles from the nearest base, and even more for ones of
any significant size with lots that would interest me. Therefore, going
down to see about something in person was absolutely not an option. I
also didn't have time to learn the ins and outs of how their online
system worked (or didn't in my opinion). I think DRMO was good for the
people that were already familiar with how it worked, not so good for
people in my position.

On the other hand, the way eBay is set up works for me just dandy. If GL
could take what works from that and apply it to what worked with DRMO,
then I think we could have something here that would be MUCH better than
anything that came before it.

Having GL or DRMO selling off used military stuff makes no difference to
me in THEORY. In theory I think GL holds out promise for being something
much better than DRMO. Obviously this is not the case today, January 24,
2001. But I will wait and see how things go over the coming months.
