Fellow members,
I wanted to thank everyone for there kind words of support and encouragement. After doing some quick research on the internet regarding this issue I have decided not to give up the ship and fight this. I believe that as others point out this is not an issue of cybersquatting and since the site is non profit it does not violate copyright laws. Gene had a good point in that copyrights expire after 25 years. All my brochures are pre-1973 so I believe I am covered.
After Friday I walked away from the issue for the weekend and spent time adding additional ceiling joists to my garage so I can insulate it. Hard work is always good for clearing the brain. I now feel refreshed and ready to go back to the trenches.
I have contacted the Electronic Freedom Foundation who has referred me to a free legal clinic in California for internet domain name issues.
I will try to keep the list updated as far as what happens with this issue.
The site is still up.
Thanks again,
Rick Lathrop
