I was having a constant problem with the milky substance collecting
in the oil filler/dipstick tube of my 1945 MB. Put some block sealer
in it, but that didn't help. Turned out to be a stuck crankcase breather
vent valve. That's the gadget on the tube that runs from the side of the
engine to the intake manifold. I took it apart, cleaned it and reinstalled
the valve and that cured my problem. The MB & CJ2A engines are
very similar.
