Well! Finally someone with enough knowledge to answer that one. Even in
Germany I couldn't get a straight answer as to why "Ich bin ein
Berliner" wasn't korrekt. Germans are very literal, I obviously wasn't
asking the question the right way.
Makes one wonder just how much mirth having a US President describe
himself as a jam donut caused both in the west and the east.
