Wayne I have good friend that runs towing service - his largerst tow truck
(and it is a big one) is used for hard pulls on interstate when big trucks
decide to drive in ditch - he carries 2 oak 4X4s about 4 ft. long. He puts
on between each tandem - one on each side facing opposite way. When truck
tries to roll it tries to climb 4X4 which presses it against the other set
of duals and effectively locks them. I saw him slide the tow truck once
pulling hard with winch but tires did not roll.
