I will check on the truck tomorrow and make some measurements of the
louvres - will have to trod through the snow and untie my tarp, but will
be worth it.
Could you get all of the registration information from Les, including
the stenciled numbers on the hood (they're on the bottom too) and the
data from the data plate? I'd really LOVE to see some pictures of it,
from all angles. I'd definately pay postage and film developing costs
if he would like to take a BUNCH of pics!

My friend, Mr Les Bell, of Sydney Australia, has amongst his
extensive MV collection, an ACKWX, that matches the description
of the missing 'French' contract vehicles.
It has 8 spoke wheels, 39-41 civy cab, and all the features.
It has also the following.
174 inch original wheelbase, 2 gearsticks on gearbox, one of them
controls TX case, only 6Hi or 4Lo can be selected..this is cause
they were designed for highway use, but in snow.
He wishes to know the EXACT dimensions of the 11 louvres in the
engine side cover panel..they are missing, he is replicating them.
Can u help out?
Les does not have email etc, but immense knowledge of these machines.
He has 9 GMC + many others.
