Since no one else has claimed the title for the World Land Speed Record
for the Diesel Powered M35, I would like to claim it.
*** OK, "normally" aspirated diesel or turbo diesel ?
I was able to achieve 59 MPH
***** Been too lang now. Do the speedo's actually go to 60 ? Think I
buried mine once past that on the way back to KC from Georgia on a
downhill somewhere between those two points. And mine is the shop van
version to boot.
on nearly flat ground on Kansas Highway 96 near Wichita,
Kansas on Friday 8, March 2002 at approximately 1730 hours. This is with
the throttle all the way to the bolt and RPM's at about 2650.
***** OK, since I don't remember mine all that well, "I" concede to you.
