Good point Derek. I replaced all my u-joints and had to have my two drive
shafts rebuilt and balanced.

I HAVE PURCHASED A NUMBER OF M1008, M1009 AND (1) M1028. IT MUST BE SPORT
FOR SOMEONE IN THE MOTOR-POOL OR DRMO TO MOVE THESE TRUCKS WITH A
FORKLIFT.PROBABLY 1/3 HAD BENT DRIVESHAFTS, DENTED AND OFF-BALANCE SHAFTS,
AND/OR CRACKED TAILSHAFT HOUSINGS. I FOUND OEM TAILSHAFT HOUSING WAS
$$REASONABLE(AFTER TRYING TO REPAIR ORIGINAL).ALSO TRY TO REPLACE STEERING
STABILIZER...BUT GO TO MONROE OR OTHER TOP BRAND WITH A GOOD (FREE)
REPLACEMENT WARRANTY AS THEY DO NOT LAST MORE THAN 1 TO 11/2 YEARS OF
FREQUENT USE IN MY EXPERIENCE.
