Hey,
On a seperate note about automatic trannies. I finished reading the
blackhawk down book online yesterday. One of the last chapters speaks about
the 10th mountain having trouble finding drivers for 5 ton trucks, because
they were stick shifts and they had to wear night vision. Not many of the
guys apparently drove with night vision, and almost none of them wanted to
try it with a 5 ton 5 speed...... They said they could just see themselves
crunching gears and holding up a whole convoy or getting left behind by the
convoy when they stalled....
So I would guess that that's a BIG if not THE main reason why the new trucks
have auto trannies... Sometimes shifting, driving, shooting, and
concentrating is just too much during battle.

Hi Dan...
>OH THEY ALSO HAVE BETER BRAKES . CHUCKS TRUCKS MAKES DISC BRAKES FOR 2.5
AXLES.
Is this the place in the Orlando area that chops up deuces to make mud
boggers for the county fair show?
What is the URL for Chuck's Trucks, and specifically what are the
prices for a disc brake conversion for deuces?
Thanks!
