They look like the wrenches that are used to lock the side sections of an
expandable van body into the stored position. IIRC there are two 1/2" square
fittings that protrude through the side panels of the van body. They are
turned 1/4 turn to either lock or unlock the sides. Once the sides are
unlocked, a large crank can be operated at the rear of the van body to winch
the side panels out to their extended position, or retract them.
