You will be opening a can of worms.. There will be a lot of modification
needed..driveshafts are only part of it..
Then there is the shifter assembly..
All in all , you will be in for a fabrication job..The torque converter will
not work.Yours is designed for the diesel engine - turbo 400 transmission.
You will need to use the proper converter for the transmission you use...
Also , some of the overdrive transmissions require a cable activation..some
are electronically controlled. You will need to research the tranny and get
one that is pretty simple and not electronic..Like the early 700R4.... But,
it can be done..one piece at a time though... Good luck..Gene
