A nice reminder....
I remember when I first came to Cincinnati back in 1988 that there was an
old army supply depot in Sharonville..just a couple of miles from my house.
I will have to reconnoiter this situation this weekend.
Thanks for the tap on the head.
Glen

Subject: [MV] Old Military Posts

While looking up some info for Mr. Doyle, I came upon this site:

http://hq.environmental.usace.army.mil/programs/fuds/fudsinv/fudsinv.html

It contains map that will show a large number of old, closed or defunct
military installations in each state that the CoE has jurisdiction of
concerning environmental hazards. Maybe you have an old ordnance warehouse
or range in the next town over, and never knew it.
Michigan has a huge number of POW camps listed. Who knows what relics
await you in that old abandoned installation in the woods. Like maybe a
partially wrecked WC63 left there 60 years ago?
