Personally. I use paint stripper unless the part is rusty. Actually, paint
stripper and a pressure washer make an awsome combo! Just be prepared to
take a bath and have eye protection and have someone there to hose you down.
The paint stripper will get (diluted) all over you and itch like a bastig!
