The lug nut's are left hand on the drivers side, I didn't realize this on my
first M37 and actually managed to turn one of the studs about a tenth of a
turn before I figured out what was going on.
The metal box houses the regulator, 24v.
I alway's figured the thing on the oil filler tube was the oil pressure
sending unit but I don't know for sure, my M37 had been converted to 12v and
I hadn't yet tried to get the gauges working before I sold the truck.
