It is usually 9 for example 0525-10021 Sometimes on the Form 97
you will find the USA # before the vin.... so it would look like
NFQPZN 0525-11136 and so forth.... the 0525 is the series # and the ser #
starts at 10000. For titling and registration use the 0524-11687 type
number... that is what you will find on the LF Frame rail of M/F deuces...
The gas engine ones are different ... RAM
