Like any hobby .. the sky can be the limit,
so put in whatever amount of devotion that
seems right for you...
As an example, here is a link on our
website, for the 3/4-ton commo truck that
my partner and I spent 4-1/2 years putting
together:

The latest edition was new passenger seat
covers compliments of wee-bee webbing..

I was headed out today with my Fiancee and future step-son/MV Driver/collector, hopefully. I pulled into the Post Office where she ran in and got the mail. When she came out, I could see the corner of the little Magazine that I have been waiting for, for the last 2 weeks. "Can you drive" I gasp as she handed me the issue. I swapped seats and commensed to reading Dave Doyles article on M-Series Markings. But about 1/2 way through, the queezy feeling in my stomach got the better of me so I HAD to stop. But durring lunch while looking at the cover, I told her that "this is my dream" She said "what, to have the jeep" I said "No, to have my M35A2 on the cover" So here is my question, does the vehicle on the cover need to be a MVPA Convention Award Winner or a very acurate restored truck? Maybe one day my dream will come true!
PS........................Excellent article Dave!!!!! But the Yellow Nose on 8th GP trucks was not just for the Gun Trucks, was for all of them.
Jeff Houghton Owns lotsa trucks
