Hello List,
In trying to keep my costs down on my M151A1 I'm going to try to use
some of the spare NDCC tires I have out in the garage. For the most
part they have great tread but they're kind of dirty and stained with
Georgia Red Clay. When I bought my tires for my HMMWV they were pretty
muddy and stained but the tire dealer (Toby Sexton) took them back in
the shop and "Painted" them. To this day they still look brand new. My
question is what is this stuff? Is it available to buy? What have
other people used? Are there any cleaners that might get the red clay
off, although I think the painting idea might be easier? BTW, thanks to
everyone for all of their great responses to my previous posts, this
list is a great resource.
Thanks,
Tony
