Terry,

What is your opinion regarding the use of synthetic gear lubes vs conventional lubes. Is it worthwhile cost wise, or performance wise.

I've seen some reports saying that synthetics can significantly reduce friction and thus pay for themselve in reduced fuel costs? If that was the case, I would
think that truckers would be using synthetics exclusively.

What do you think?
