Gas is Gas. I've not heard of re-jetting carbs to
accommodate current
fuels.
The only thing you'll accomplish by opening up the
main jet is
increased top end
performance. If you have idling problems you MIGHT
try opening up the
idle jet
by no more than .003. I do that on M-38 carbs because
they have a
tendency to
idle a little lean. I would check out your valves.
Perhaps an intake
leak or
other vacuum problem.
