Thanks to all that assisted me in my search for insurance on a deuce -
I did at last get quote from State Farm - week after deuce was sold to some
one else and they cut up it up; for the purchaser knew better than U S
Army how it should have been built - removed bed, shortened frame between
cab and rear drive - made home built bed with concrete slab in it about 7
feet square and 5 inches thick.-
I predict engine failure within 4 weeks of going into operation - going to
be used to pull 4 wheel loaded trailers from field to town.- trailers will
weigh about 17,000 pounds - no brakes on trailer - and trailers do not add
to weight of truck.
