Well, I went to the afore mentioned MV meet, yesterday. The place was packed
with big(and little) OD machinery. The swapmeet area was larger than years
previous. I met some new people & got reaquainted with a few others. All of
them nice folks! I spoke with Jim Gilmore, Rod Shaver, Dave Pizoferato, among
many others, that I know by face only. There was everything from a Tow missle
M38a1 to "The Untouchable" gun truck, to staff cars, to a Bell 500 OD
helicopter, which was giving *WILD* rides.
There was a VFW band performing & a local radio station was doing a live
remote broadcast.
The local Army National Guard performed a mock battle, too.
I picked up some hard to find items for little cash & got some leads on some
other goodies.
I've been coming to this meet for the last 4 years & this was the best one
yet!
