Easy Douglas... Because all the REALLY good food was back in merry old
England, so what was the incentive go go to the New World? Everybody
knows that the savages in the New World cooked things by (YES IT IS TRUE)
roasting things instead of civilized method of boiling them for 4 hours
until flavorless! And in Australia pretty much everything there is
poisonous, and still is :-)
Actually, having recently read the latest National Geographic about what
happened to Jamestown, I think I might have stuck it out in "sunny"
England! Well, at least until things got a bit less prone to plague :-)

PS. Tonight I went to the movies and saw a poster for a Crocodile Hunter
movie which is coming out soon. I am sure I saw this mentioned in
Nostradamus somewhere as one of "the signs" none of want to know about!
