At risk of offending anyone/everyone....if you have a G-742 (M-35 type) truck, especially a gas burner.....you are doing yourself a great disservice not having TM 9-8022 ,which actually tells and shows with GREAT photos, how to FIX your truck instead of just saying "replace this part" or call second echelon support. In the same vein, ORD 9 SNL G-742 is the parts book you need. Wanna know the Chicago Rawhide part number for a seal, its in there...none of this manufacturer code TACOM crap, good info instead. Unfortunately, neither of these manuals address the multifuel engine, or overdrive transmission (neither were in use at the time the manuals were printed), but on everything else you will never use the TM 9-2320-209 -10, -20, -20P and -35P again. The 9-8022 is relatively cheap, the ORD 9 not so cheap, both will pay for themselves in the first weeks of deuce ownership.
