My 1009 does have a vacuum pump to run the trans,(rubber line had
deteriorated, causing poor shifting) so why can't it also control the a/c? I
have 2 crew vans with a/c and 6.2 diesel, and similiar vac. pump.I have a
donor blazer (gas)with a/c, but have not gotten around to transfering a/c
yet.I am fairly certain that the gas 350 does not have a seperate vac pump
though.
    Thoughts?
