hmm. That presents a problem. The yahoo who had the truck the last 20
years ( letting it degrade to it's current condition ) probably did not go
by the book. Might not have know there WAS a book <g>. There is no fluid
in the Master cylinder, and the brake pedal goes to the floor ...
almost: the brake pedal rod appears to be off center and hits the floor
board, leaving the brake pedal about 3" in the air... but there is NO
pressure in the brake system. Without pressure in the system I don't
believe opening a nut on a wheel will get me enough fluid to try to
identify the type...

I would prefer not to have to just guess and use one or the other brake
fluid but don't see another choice. Is there a color/visual difference
between DOT 4 and down and DOT 5 fluid? If no other way, which way would
you go with a wild guess?

Thanks for your thoughts!
