All the folks with M35 family trucks should get the SYSTEMATIC
INSPECTION PROCEDURE FOR THE 2 1/2 TON TRUCK. This is a 8 page
Training Aid from October of 1977 and was issued with the operator's manual
(-10). It is printed on glossy card stock and is broken down in to 5
sections and 140 points for the driver of the deuce to check as part of his
Motor Stables.. This little document is in 8 1/2 by 11 format and is
called "GTA#9-1-185 (1-8). The one I am using to compose this message was
printed by the Government Printing Office in 1990. It even has some
diagrams and arrows for those of you who aren't familiar with where some of
the stuff is on your trucks... Example: #56 Check brake pedal. It should
have 1/4 inch of free travel and it should not feel spongy... Happy
Checking.. RAM
