Stick with the paint stripper! If you are daring, use the strippper with a
pressure washer! Watch that paint fly everywhere!!!
Sandblast only rust.
You cannot afford to buy a compressor that you would need to sandblast on a
continuous basis. You really need a gasoline driven unit which of course you
could rent. Yes you want a pressure feed pot. Look for someone who does it
commmercially. I found a place that will do the outside of a complete deuce
for $500. Remember too that sandblasting is not particularily good for the
sheetmetal.
If you buy a compressor, buy a 2 stage 175 psi unit.
It is worth the extra bucks and makes all the difference
in the world with air tools.
