deuce manufacturer question?

Hello, I have another manufacturer question.
     I have a 1957, M51, 5 ton dump truck. The manufacturer is listed on the
Dash plate as (Diamond T.M.C. Co., Chicago, Ill.) but on the title (and the
paperwork I got from the Gov.) it says the manufacturer is (International).
    Was Diamond T. bought by international in 1953? What could have caused
this discrepancy?
    Also I have a deuce made in 1952 by Studebaker (it was a gas truck & I
converted it) and I had a deuce (I sold it to my Dad) that was a 1980 Jeep.
    What years were the M35 series trucks made from.. & too..?
