I found a guy who has 3 large 5 ton trucks with an assembly on the back that looks like a launching mechanism.
The bed has two lifting cylinders, a winch and rollers on the rear corners made of aluminum. The bed section looks like it is a lot wider than 8'-6" and the tires
and wheels on the back are dual 14x20 tires, really big (for floatation?) The rear bed looks like it is about 9 1/2 feet wide. Obviously oversize for the road.
Are these bridge trucks? I've never seen one before.
These trucks also have the long hoods. I think that means they have the Mack engines, correct?
